Feather & Petal / Toll & Szirom

I didn’t make anything new, so I thought to write about a plan I want to build after finishing the salon de thé. The idea of the interior design shop came into my mind years ago. First I just wanted to build a shop, but later it became bigger and bigger in my mind, and now it is a complete house. A 3-storey house with a shop and a conservatory on the ground floor, the kitchen and dining-living room will be on the first floor, the bedroom and bathroom will be located on the second floor and there will be an attic with old, antique looking furniture, old, broken toys, dirty carpet, etc.

During the years I bought and made almost everything I plan to put into the shop area, and I decided to make a fake shop on my shelf until I will have the opportunity to build it. Here are the photos about the Feather & Petal Interior Shop, which will carry a mixture of French and English Country style with a hint of Swedish. The floor will be a dark hardwood floor which will provide good background to the pale coloured furniture and shop items. The wall will be painted off white with fake timbers (painted to aqua blue) and I will make the chandelier.

I hope you like it J If you have any suggestions feel free to write J

Have a nice day,

Orsi

**************

A lakberendezési bolt ötlete évekkel ezelőtt jutott eszembe.

Orsi

  1. Ez megint csodálatos lesz! Tényleg olyan hangulata van, mint némelyik boltnak!

  2. Hi Orsi, I love your work! I am not a miniaturist but am interested in getting started. I recently moved to Budapest. Are there some shops that sell small dollhouse crafts? I am particularly interested in some balsa/bass wood and textures.

    1. Hi Holly,

I don't know any special dollhouse shop in Hungary, I myself usually travel to Vienna when I need some miniatures. But there are a shop called Panton, it is located in the VIIth district (in the Rumbach Sebestyén street, close to the Király street), where you can buy any type of balsa and pine wood strips. And you can try the Hobbymüvész shops (www.hobbymuvesz.hu) for paints, varnishes, etc. if you need more info please send me an e-mail.
